The Freeplay Emergency Twin Pack is the most ideal companion for any emergency. The Emergency Twin pack contains a Freeplay EyeMax Weatherband radio and Sherpa LED wind up flashlight - providing dependable, sustained access to information and illumination in emergency situations anytime, anywhere.
The Freeplay EyeMax Self-Sufficicent Weatherband Radio
Offering a choice of AC rechargeability, wind-up and solar power, the EyeMax incorporates the latest in Freeplay's self-sufficient technology - which means unparalleled sound quality, dependability and durability, all without the need for replaceable batteries.
In a compact, fun and stylish design, the EyeMax FM/AM/Weatherband Radio is fitted with a DC input facility to accommodate the AC/DC adaptor/charger (supplied) and an earphone socket for personal listening. It also incorporates an integrated ultra bright LED flashlight.
The Freeplay EyeMax will play for approximately 35 minutes at normal volume per 30 seconds wind, and can be rewound at any time for as much playtime as you want. An LED charge level indicator tells you the best speed to wind. And in direct sunlight the EyeMax will charge itself and play continuously without winding. The internal Ni-MX battery can be fully charge from the solar panel or the AC/DC adapter, providing 25 hours of playtime, depending on volume, when fully charged.
The Freeplay Sherpa LED Self-Sufficient Flashligh
The Sherpha LED Flashlight introduces a new level of dependability to the Sherpa range. Like the EyeMax, it incorporates failsafe Freeplay wind-up technology, together with the reliability of ultra-bright white LEDs, the Sherpa LED provides excellent brightness and shine time with the peace of mind of never needing to ever replace the batteries or bulb. The Sherpa LED is a compact, rugged flashlight ideal for both every day and emergency use.
Designed to be a serious tool, the wind-up system offers maximum dependability for those times when you can't afford to be left in the dark by dead batteries. A quick wind (about 30 seconds) gives approximately 20 minutes of light on normal beam and you can rewind at any time for as much shine-time as you want. An LED charge level indicator tells you the optimal winding speed.
Fully charged, the flashlight provides 3 hours 20 minutes of ultra bright light, and 20 hours of normal light, using an array of high-efficiency, solid-state, ultra bright white LEDs. Internal mechanical components are specified to industrial standards for repeated use and long life.
